Leadership

Mariana D. Molina

Founder and President

Mariana Molina was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and moved to Chapel Hill, North Carolina with her family in 1985. She is a trained lawyer with a JD from North Carolina Central University. After obtaining her LLM in commercial real estate law from John Marshall Law School, Mariana joined the real estate practice group of one of the largest law firms in Chicago where she devoted her practice to counseling clients in all stages of real estate acquisition, ownership, development, disposition, and financing.

Mariana discovered her interest in real estate development while working as General Counsel for Craig Davis Properties, Inc., a Raleigh-based development company that specializes in the acquisition, development, leasing and management of commercial real estate in the southeast.

Mariana launched Bella Vista Development Group to create lasting environments that are beautiful, practical and sustainable. She is passionate about promoting the advancement of women in the commercial real estate industry and is proud to work with a design, engineering & construction team made up entirely of North Carolina, women-owned firms.

While she still loves working through the legal challenges of complex real estate transactions, these days Mariana’s focus is on breaking ground.  And maybe a glass ceiling or two along the way.
